Important Notice Of Regulatory Changes In The European Union

Sadly, Сrypterium was forced to temporarilysuspend the use of your Crypterium Visa Carddue to a change in the rules for opening card accounts.

But not to worry!It doesnotmean you are blocked for good. There’s a way to fix it. We just need an extra document from you.

To activate your card you needto pass a quick identity verificationprocess – please follow the instructions below carefully. It will take as little as 1 minute, and you only need an international passport. Your card will be activated within 6 hours automatically. If this does not happen, please kindlycontact support.

If you fail to complete your identity verificationby July 26 23:59:59GMT, we will be forced to shut down or block your card.We sincerely hope that this will not happen, but we are forced to comply with this requirement, as it is mandated by the law.

We are working on making your experience as comfortable as possible and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. As compensation for the inconvenience caused,10 CRPT will be sent to your Crypterium wallet within 3 working days after passing personal identification.

Step #0 – Please update the App to the latest version.

Step #1 – Launch the Crypterium Wallet

Launch the Crypterium Wallet on your device or browser. Go to the Profile section and click on “Increase Limits” to start the process.

Step #2 – Start Verification

To pass verification you need to make 3 simple steps:

Take a selfie
Select a document (International passport accepted only. A driver’s license or personal ID is not accepted)
Take a photo of the document

Note: If you are using an Android device, the verification procedure will be slightly different.

You will get a special verification link sent to your mobile phone. Please open the link using your mobile phone browser (copy and paste it into the browser address bar).

Once you do it, you will have to read and accept the Consent for personal data processing.

Step #3 – Take a selfie

Step #4 – Select the document

Take a photo of your International passport

For personal verification please use an International passport only.

Note: The document should have your first and last name written in Latin characters and have a validity of at least another three months before the expiration date. While making a photo of your document, please make sure that the photo is bright and clear, with no highlights or stains. The text in the document should be easy to read.

Step #5 – Take a photo of the document

That’s it! The verification process is done!
