John McAfee, the influential programmer, and businessman has called out Satoshi Nakamoto for not coming forward and bringing the mystery around him to bed.
McAfee, who founded the software company McAfee Associates back in the lsquo;70s, used Twitter to say what he thinks about the recent feud between Craig Wright, a person who claims to be the real Satoshi, and the vast majority of crypto community on the other side.
In his first tweet, McAfee rejected the conspiracy theories that secret services hide behind Satoshi, and rather shared his theory that Satoshi represents a group of people, whereas only one of them wrote the famous white paper “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System” back in 2008.
The quot;Who is Satoshi? quot; Mystery must end! First: It is NOT the CIA nor any agency of any world government. It IS a collection of people, but the white paper was written by one man, who currentky resides in the US. If he does not come forward these narrowings will continue.

He then continued by sharing his frustration, similarly to the majority within the crypto community, about “imposters claim[ing] to be him”. As this has become a frequent scenario, McAfee threatens that he will start with the process of “narrowing down the identity of Satoshi until he reveals himself”, or, McAfee threatens to reveal his real identity.
I protected the identity of Satoshi. It #39;s time, though, that this be put to bed. Imposters claim to be him, we are spending time and energy in search of him – It #39;s a waste. Every day I will narrow down the identity of Satoshi until he reveals himself, or I reveal him.

As the Craig Wright story continues to drag on the entire crypto community, McAfee notes that “Craig Wright’s fake claim to be Satoshi is fully responsible for the BSV scam which hurt us all”. Three days ago, Newconomy reported about the latest controversies surrounding Bitcoin SV and Craig Wright.
Wow!! Im getting flack for forcing Satoshi into the open. Please see: the quot;not knowing quot; is allowing people to falsely claim the title. This wreaks havoc. For example: Craig Wright #39;s fake claim to be Satoshi is fully responsible for the BSV scam which hurt us all.

On April 15, Bitcoin SV was delisted by numerous crypto exchanges, including giants such as Binance and Kraken. As a result, BSV hit the 6-month low of $54. In a statement posted on the official website, Binance explained that “the coin failed “to meet the high level of standard we expect”.”
McAfee, meanwhile, has continued to tweet and get into arguments with multiple Twitter users. In response to one of them, McAfee claims he knows who Satoshi is.
I have received today dozens of communications from people and groups claiming to be Satoshi. Below is an example email and my responses. So people, please – i do know who Satoshi is. Don #39;t make yourself look foolish by pretending. I will do as I did below. BTW – big clue below: pic.twitter.com/OGXBzrlD5a

Again people, don #39;t make yourselves look foolish by contacting me and claiming to be Satoshi. If you need to contact me to reveal yourself then you are not him. pic.twitter.com/DGPoCV9vhD

McAfee stops there. However, we can’t be so sure that where the ongoing debate, about who the real Satoshi is, will end as well.
