Before we get started, let’s make sure we’re on the same page. To follow the steps below, you’ll need a Crypterium account. Don’t have one yet? No worries! Signing up takes only a minute. You can download the app on your iOS or Android device or register on any browser.
Launch Crypterium Wallet on your device and click on the Crypterium Card banner.
Alternatively, switch to the “Card” tab using the navigation menu at the bottom of your screen. Then, press on “Order the Card” to begin.
We all have different needs. That’s why we offer two different versions of our signature Crypterium Card VISA. At the moment, you can choose between a physical and a virtual version. Both cards deliver equally awesome functionality!
To select your preferred Crypterium Card, simply slide left or right. You will see an overview of each card, including limits, applicable fees, and other relevant details. If you want to access a full list of tariffs, you can click on “Learn more about tariffs”.
Keep in mind that both Crypterium Card editions are absolutely free. However, there is a fixed delivery charge that applies to the physical card (14.99 EUR).
Once you’ve made up your mind, click “Order the Card” to proceed.
Ordering a Crypterium Card is easy and fast. Yet, the process slightly differs depending on the type of card that you’ve chosen. Follow the steps below based on your decision:
In order to get your plastic card, you’ll have to complete two key steps: payment and verification. While the Crypterium Card is free, we do charge a fixed delivery charge. At this stage, you’ll have to complete with your shipping details. Once you’ve filled the required information, click on “Go to payment” to proceed. Then, press on “Select payment method” and pick one of your balances from Crypterium Wallet.
Once the payment is completed, it’s time to verify your identity. Select a valid document to verify the information (International Passport or Local ID accepted). Then, enter the document number, expire date, date of birth and tax country.Click “Next” to open a popup window and record a video selfie. Our team will verify your details and let you know as soon as your application is approved or we need further details.
If you’ve selected the virtual Crypterium Card, you will need to enter the following details: Passport or ID issuance country, residence country, state, city, address, zip code. Once you’ve filled in those details, click “Next” to proceed.
Select a document to verify the information (International Passport or Local ID). Then, enter the document number, expiration date, date of birth, and tax country. If everything looks good, go ahead and click “Next”. A popup window will open so that you can record a simple video selfie.
Now relax. Our team will take a few minutes to verify your order and notify you as soon as your Crypterium Card is ready to use or additional details are needed.
To activate your Crypterium Card VISA, you’ll need to head to create a security phrase to validate online transactions, as well as a PIN code.
For security reasons, all cards are shipped without a PIN code. After you’ve done that, you’ll have to visit the closest ATM and request a balance receipt. Remember to use the PIN code set on Crypterium Wallet. That’s it!
If your card is ready for activation, you’ll be able to see a banner on the Card section.
Click on “Activate my card” and set a security passphrase. That security phrase is used to validate your online purchases and prevent unsolicited usage. Once confirmed, you’re ready to shop!
