Steven and Austin joined forces, this week, in order to provide our customers with the latest news on Crypterium.
At the moment, the issuance of Crypterium Cards and the development of a white label program are top priorities.
White Label Program
In recent months, Crypterium has seen the need for its own BTC (Business to Customer) model. The B2B market offers great opportunities to increase our user base beyond the current 500,000 clients served worldwide. We are confident that our solid infrastructure and top-notch solutions will be useful for a vast number of players in the cryptocurrency industry.
There are two avenues where we see ourselves running with a white label program. The first and simplest is to allow other companies rebrand our Crypterium Wallet. In that case, people would download an app under a different name, but it will still be the Crypterium Wallet behind.
In this scenario, users don’t know they’re using the Crypterium Wallet, although we might include a “Powered by Crypterium” disclaimer at the bottom. just to keep our brand knowledge somewhere in the application. We are currently working with 3 partners to test this concept.
A second model for white labelling would be to integrate our services inside an existing application. As an example, a banking app that wants to enable a crypto-fiat feature. That crypto function would not be provided by the bank, but by Crypterium, via an internal widget.
Crypterium Card
The Crypterium Card needs no introduction. The first global cryptocurrency card was introduced back in June 2019 and it’s currently enjoyed by over 15,000 clients around the world.
Despite some troubles with the first Crypterium Card program, the product established as itself as a reference on the crypto card market. To date, no other card is delivered worldwide.
Our Crypterium Card is now available on a virtual version too. We’ve develop this digital program so that you don’t need to wait for the delivery of a plastic card and can enjoy spend cryptocurrencies even faster. Multiple tests have concluded the Crypterium Card now works with a broader variety of retailers.
We understand that UnionPay might not be the perfect solution for clients based in the United States or Europe. But it’s the only solution that enables us to serve the world.
That said, we have already started working on a partnership with VISA and that solution won’t take long to go live. While you’ll have to wait for more details on this particular development, we anticipate this card will support ApplePay and GooglePay.
The issuance of Crypterium Cards to users of the first program is close to an end. We have successfully replaced most old cards with both new virtual and physical cards.
Security In Focus
Crypterium remains committed to protecting your funds. For that reason, we encourage to activate our 2FA feature to enhance the security of your account.
